We are in the process of transforming our 120 year old building into a Center for Weaving Excellence while restoring as much of the building as possible.  This is in an effort to bring together Belfasts rich weaving history which at one time gave the city the moniker “Linenopolis”  with Carnegies familial connection to weaving. Currently we have three meanwhile users who have setup their beautiful looms in order to practice weaving inside the library
